That’s right! This year, we’re giving you an exciting opportunity: earn one graduate-level extension unit just for attending Seesaw Connect. Many educators use these units to enhance their skills, renew their teaching license, or even advance on their salary scale.

That’s right! This year, we’re giving you an exciting opportunity: earn one graduate-level extension unit just for attending Seesaw Connect. Step-by-Step Process for Earning Graduate-Level Credit

  1. Attend Sessions: Participants choose and attend Seesaw Connect sessions based on their interests.
  2. Document Participation: As they attend sessions, participants must document their learning by filling out this form. (If you don’t have a Google account, download this fillable PDF form to complete and submit.)
  3. Complete Required Hours: Each 45-minute session (with certificate) can count as 1 hour. Once participants have documented 12.5 hours of learning, they will submit their completed form through this course to receive a certificate of completion. If you’ve taken any professional development with Seesaw, you will likely already have an account in our Learning Hub. If you’ve never taken professional development with Seesaw, you will need to create a new account.
  4. Enroll with the University of San Diego: After receiving the certificate, participants will enroll in the Seesaw Connect: Building Joyful Classrooms course (Course Code: EDC-X800Y) through the University of San Diego and pay the required fee of $79.
  5. Submit Certificate: Participants must email their certificate of completion to [email protected] to initiate the process for their transcript.
  6. Receive Transcript: The University of San Diego will process the submission and mail an official transcript for the graduate-level credit. Please allow 2-3 weeks processing time.

  • Log into the Learning Hub
  • Click on your name on the top right corner
  • Go to ‘My Account’
  • Click on Certificates on the left side and you should be able to redownload your certificate

Participants can expect to receive their transcripts within 2-3 weeks for addresses in the continental U.S. and 3-4 weeks for international addresses.

Unfortunately, there isn’t an expedited option at this moment. However, if you need a transcript sent to your district as soon as possible, you can first submit your certificate of completion. This will trigger the initial transcript to be sent out on the next processing day to your address on your USD profile—either Tuesday or Friday, whichever comes first.

If you also need a second, sealed transcript sent to a different location, you can use this link to request and pay for an additional transcript for $20.
