Gail Hugo has more than 40 years of experience teaching grades K–3 and has spent the past 35 years teaching first grade at Valley School of Ligonier. She incorporates LETRS, Responsibility Centered Discipline, and brain research gained through Learning & the Brain Conferences into her instruction. Gail believes technology should enhance learning rather than replace thoughtful instruction. Her students know her classroom mantra well: “Technology is a tool, not a toy!”
